Hi, my name is Grayson Newbourn. I’m a writer, reporter and editor based in Columbus, Ohio.

I’m a fourth-year journalism student at The Ohio State University, where I serve as Managing Arts & Life Editor at The Lantern, the university’s award-winning student newspaper. I edit and report on local entertainment, culture and arts features, working closely with media professionals while mentoring up-and-coming reporters.

I also serve as the paper’s interim social media editor, publishing daily news content to an audience of more than 120,000 followers and helping drive millions of weekly views across Instagram and Facebook.

In addition, I’m a magazine editorial intern at Funktasy Magazine, where I interview musicians, cover music industry news and collaborate with editorial, marketing, A&R and design teams.
